About Dr. Buchwach
Dr. Buchwach is Board Certified in both Facial Plastic Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery and has been in private practice since 1979. He is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated with honors from Rutgers University. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He received his specialty training from the University of Illinois and Ohio State University and then completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas - Houston. He has performed thousands of Hair Transplants over the last twenty years.Dr. Buchwach is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the American College of Surgeons. He has served as an examiner of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a clinical assistant on the teaching staff of a major university medical school.
Dr. Buchwach lectures throughout the country on Hair Transplant Sugery and other aspects of Facial Plastic Surgery. He has been a contributing author for four major medical textbooks. He was selected to write an entire textbook on hair transplant surgery in order to teach his techniques to other doctors. He is the lead author of two books, Contemporary Hair Transplant Surgery and Male Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Buchwach has a national practice with patients traveling to Kansas City from 43 states and 7 foreign countries.
